Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone is a family/fantasy movie from 2001, directed by Chris Columbus. It is based on novel with the same title written by J.K. Rowling.
The movie tells a story about 11-years-old boy named Harry Potter who had been living a normal life until the day of his 11th birthday when he received invitation letter from Hogwarts - school of witchcraft and wizardry. After that whole his life changed.
In the new school he found a lot of new friends, whereas two of them became his lifelong friends - Ron and Hermione. These three young wizards discover secrets within the school and soon, they will have to face a great threat in the shape of evil and powerful wizard - Lord Voldemort who wants to come back to life after accident that happened eleven years ago - the day he tried to kill our protagonist - Harry Potter.
In my opinion, this is one of the best movies ever made. I have watched it about twenty times and I still love it. I recommend it to everyone, no matter if you are still a kid or an adult - I am sure you will enjoy this fascinating story!
