Film "Harry Potter i Kamień Filozoficzny" jest adaptacją pierwszej książki z cyklu o Harrym Potterze. Jako adaptacja uważam, że została bardzo dobrze przygotowana. Odpowiednio wybrano przygody, tak by nie zatracić ważnych informacji odnośnie głównego wątku, a jednocześnie pokazano kilka pobocznych przygód młodego czarodzieja. Wprawdzie scenarzyści skrócili fabułę książki, jednak nie odczuwa się braku czegokolwiek w tym filmie.To, co najlepsze w tym filmie to klimat. Znakomicie oddany został klimat świata czarodziejów przedstawiony w książce.
