The bad job.
I’ve been here for six months. The company hasn’t made me a profit since 2016 and the boss keeps sacking employees. I haven’t had any money since January. There should be four people here working today, but I’ve been on my own since 9 a.m and I’m exhausted.
The good job.
I’ve been at this restaurant since June and my friend has been here for the last two months. I’ve learned a lot since I started and I’ve met lots of interested people. Today has been a quiet day. I’ve been there for two hours and there’s only one customer, so my boss has taught me how to cook Spanish paella.
