I think school in 1935 looked very differently from nowadays. There weren't any computers or laptops. Everybody learned by writing on a chalkboard. Children went to school even on Saturdays. On Sundays they went to church. They were really busy. But I think they were happier than today because they didn't know how much the world was cruel.
