Frates of the Caribbean (2003) In one scene on the deck of the ship, a cameraman appears wearing a cowboy hat. Django Unchained (2012) The hero of director Quentin Tarantino's film, which is set in 1858, wears a pair of sunglasses. Sunglasses weren't available in the USA until 1929.​
