Now, I'm smiling when I recall what happened a few months ago. I was walking along a street when I realised I had left the door unlocked. I thought it would be nothing inside and I saw in my mind empty rooms and desperate parents. I was dashing and got home within minutes to discover the door was locked.
I felt relieved and wanted to get some water so I reached my pocket, but somehow I couldn't find the key which I'd left inside. I had been taking it but then Peter called and... I only shut the door. I got furious about the lock blocking the door automatically. My parents are coming back next week, so I'll have been waiting for days and I won't be able to do anything with it, I thought.
Having discovered the painful true, I called my friend, begging her to take me in. That's how we've become a couple. Another thing I've done since then is making sure of having the key on me before leaving home.
