I was in a shop selling food in the high street while I was getting home from school yesterday. The shop is usually not busy except afternoons, and it was when I was shopping there. It's a pretty modern and big store, but they rearranged it a bit after it had been refurbished, so I had some problems with finding doughnuts which I love.
Most of the products are not cheap, but I couldn't say they are too expensive. Of course, if you've got no money, everything is expensive and you can't afford it. However, now I remember that I noticed some sweets which were just rip-offs. They must have changed the prices recently.
When I told my mum about it, she said that sooner or later we'll pay much more for everything. Do you think she's right?
