What he didn’t know is that the bottle would survive so long.Last month, a German fisherman found Platz’s bottle when he was on his every day fishing trip. 4.2. _______ The historians there found out that it’s the oldest message in the bottle in the whole world! They also found Platz’s granddaughter, Angela, who is now 62 years old. She lives in Berlin and never met her grandfather who died in 1946.What did the bottle contain? 4.3. _______Platz asked the finder to return it to his home address in Berlin. The rest of the message couldn’t be read. 4.4. _______ But it didn’t stop the experts. They’re trying to decipher the entire message and hope it’ll be possible to read it soon.
