It was a bitterly cold morning. Grey clouds hung low in the sky and snow was falling. It was the beginning of the winter holidays and Laura was travelling home from university to spend the holidays with her family. Suddenly, an elderly gentleman entered her carriage. He was wearing a black coat and he carried a briefcase. He sat opposite Laura, opened his briefcase, took out an envelope and gave it to Laura.
