When my friend and I were in New York City
we rented an apartment for the weekend. The
description of the place was lovely. There was a
big bedroom, a kitchen with a cooker, and big
windows with blue curtains. It was close to the
subway, so we could get around easily.

windows were dirty and there weren't any
curtains. The cupboards were broken and there
wasn't a cooker in the kitchen. Then, we saw the
bathroom. It didn't have a door, it was dirty, and
there was hair in the shower! It was horrible!!! My
friend was really upset. In the end, we were so
tired that we fell asleep on two armchairs in the
living room. We were really tired and we left the
next day.
But when we arrived, the lift didn't work so we
walked up the stairs. Then, we opened the front
door and we were a little worried: there was only
