How I use the internet
Greetings everyone,
The subject of my post this week is how I use the internet. Using the internet by teens is widely criticized by adults. But why? From my own experience, my parents were always immensely benevolent when I asked them questions about the modern technologies, including the web. They understand that everything is circling around the internet nowadays, and they get that I'm making friends on the net or joining various communities and forums online.
The second topic is, how would you act if you were to be cut off from the internet connection for some more extended period of time?
For me, it wouldn't be a problem, but I get why for some people it may be a very to get through this experience as they, for example, can maintain all of their relationships and friendships on social media and the internet. Individualistically, I wouldn't feel angry or lonely due to not being able to go online, as for me, it's not really a big deal.
If I were to lack anything on the internet, after being forced to stop going online, it would probably be my online best-friend, Alisa. We've known each for 4 years now, so it's relatively important for us to stay connected, and we would feel both sad and disappointed without the opportunity of regular contact.
