Table Mountains National Park (Park Narodowy Gór Stołowych) - one of 23 national parks in Poland, established on September 16, 1993. It is located in the Dolnośląskie Voivodeship. The park is located in the Central Sudetes Mountains in the north-west of the Kłodzko Region, near the Polish-Czech border. The name of the Table Mountains reflects their landscape, the characteristic elements of which are the vast plains and the flat tables of rock bastions rising above them, steep walls. Table Mountains National Park has red deer, wild boar, roe deer, red fox, squirrel (black and red variety) and small rodents. More difficult to notice - mainly due to the nocturnal lifestyle - are the mustelids: European badger, pine marten, ferret, weasel and European ermine. Of the insectivorous mammals, the hedgehog is common, and the rare ones are the tiny shrew and the mountain shrew typical of mountain areas.
