Dear Melanie, Well here I am in England. I arrived a week ago and I'm just beginning to settle down. The journey was awfu). We had to land at Antigua because of a storm so the journey tool: more than thirteen hours! The Wilsons met me at Gatwick Airport and we drove straight to Dover. The house is very nice. It's bigger than ours in St George's. Sue, the daughter, is the same age as me ard is very friendly. Mra Wilson doesn't want me to feel lonely so Sue and I share the same bedroom. Mrs Wilson works in a department Mr and Mrs Wilson both go to work. She's very kind and wants me store which is in the centre of Dover. They're taking me somewhere special to have a good time in England. Mr Wilson owns a video rental shop. this weekend. I hope it's London! Sue's brother is called Paul and he gces to college. He's seventeen and quite good-looking. He's taking me to a party on Friday night! It's full of tourists because it's where people Dover is a bit boring. take the ferry to France. (There's a school visit to Paris at the end There are quite a few beaches down the of term - isn't that great!) coast but they aren't like the beaches in Grenada and the water's much, much colder! It's grey and dirty-looking so I don't think I'm going to swim very much here. This evening Mr Wilson is bringing a video film home. He and Mrs Wilson are going out so Sue's inviting some of her friends round to watch the video. We're going to have Coke and hot dogs. The school here is OK and the work isn't too hard. I miss home a lot but please don't tell Mum because I don't want her to think I'm homesick. Write soon. Lots of love,
