Paris is the capital of France, although the French believe that it is also the whole world. Regardless of your opinion, it is worth visiting this place at least once in your life, because Paris is not only a city of love, but also greenery, beautiful architecture and, of course, art.
Paris is inhabited by over 2.2 million people and is divided into 20 districts. They were numbered sequentially, the first being the city center.
Tourists come to Paris primarily to find its romantic side. Long walks along the banks of the Seine or the narrow streets that end at every corner with a small bistro are the essence of a visit to Paris. From almost every place in the city you can admire its main attraction - the Iron Lady. The Eiffel Tower is a must-see when visiting the French capital, but just the beginning of a long list of the city's great attractions. This is where you will see the famous Mona Lisa in the Louvre museum, visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, where the famous bell ringer was supposed to live, or the Opera Garnier, where the Phantom of the Opera takes place.
However, Paris is not only the city of love and the City of Lights as it is called by tourists and locals. It is also a modern European capital, with a very interesting office district, La Defense, excellent public transport (check: metro in Paris) and perfect access from three nearby airports to the center (see: how to get to Paris from the airport). All this makes the city an ideal destination for a weekend visit, also from Poland!
