I don't think it's very smart no to know English nowadays. However, who says that everything we do should be smart enough? I think that not everybody needs to be well-prepared to get a well-paid job. Some need to do manual jobs and not to earn too much. I guess you are intelligent enough to make a good choice. You ought to take what makes you happy and fulfils your expectations.
