I bought a T-shirt. Summer is coming and I needed a shirt made out of breathable material.

I try to go shopping once a month.

I prefer credit cards. I think it's quicker and more convenient - you use just one card instead of bills and coins.

Yes, I bought a Nintendo. My favourite game was released last year and the only way I could play it was on the console. So I got it for myself as a present. I'm happy!
• What is your favourite store or shopping mall?
I like Galaxy. It's big enough for me, I can find everything I want in there and it's quite close to where I live.
Which is better: saving money or spending money? Why?
Saving money is better. When you save money you make sure you don't spend it on less important things. And when an opportunity comes up, you have enough for a big purchase!
• Which is better: shopping alone or with family or friends? Why?
I prefer shopping with family and friends. Shopping is exhausting and if I'm alone I get tired pretty quickly. My family and friends keep me company, we laugh a lot and the time we spend together is more fun.
• Does shopping make you feel happy? Why? / Why not?
It doesn't make me happy. I view it more as a responsibility than a hobby. But when I finally find something I like I am happy that I bought it.
• Do you ever spend too much money when you go shopping?
No, I spend my money wisely. I like to buy things on sale, too.
Would you like to work in a store? Why? / Why not?
No, because my sister did in the past and she wasn't happy with it. It's a lot of work and I'd much rather work in gastronomy because I love food.
• Should stores be open 24 hours a day? Why? / Why not?
I don't think we need stores to be open 24 hours a day. Maybe one or two so we can get things in case of an emergency, but most people sleep at night and don't go shopping anyway.
• Would you like to own a store? Why? / Why not?
I wouldn't. Having your own business is a lot of responsibility and I don't think I'm ready for that.
• Are there any stores in your town that you don't like? Why?
No, I like all of the stores I have been to. So far I don't have anything to complain about.

I'm thinking of going on a trip to Tokyo, so flight tickets are going to be quite expensive.
• Is on-line shopping a good idea? Why? / Why not?
Yes, it is a great idea for people who can't leave the house or are too busy to do that. It has its disadvantages, but I do on-line shopping myself sometimes and I'm happy with how it works.
