Uncle Geoff became a teacher at the age of 37. Before that he used to have a job as a nurse in the local hospital.

We used to play football in St James' Park when we were kids (used to be na siłę mogłoby być, ale brzmiałoby sztucznie, bo chodzi bardziej o określenie czasu a nie powtarzający się stan lub czynność), but we can't do it anymore because they built a shopping centre there.
