What do you think happens to out-of-date food in supermarkets? Do you think it's eaten? You're wrong! It is thrown away and wasted! Many people throw away completely healthy and normal food because they do not like it or are not hungry. Children are the reason for that too. Most of them throw away the sandwiches mom gives them to school and buy some chips from the supermarket instead. As a result, people in the world are dying of hunger because they have nothing to eat. If supermarkets didn't throw away the products they hadn't sold, they could save the lives of those in need. Next time you throw food away, think twice.
