As we all know, we had a concert at school two days ago. Contrary to the fears of some ominously predicting poor acoustics, the gymnasium lived up to expectations in terms of sound quality. There was no reverberation or echo.
However, the concert itself was not the world champion in its category. Unfortunately, the musicians themselves seemed to be distracted from other activities and looked as if they had accidentally dropped in on the party and wanted to improvise something, to poor effect. Mistakes in lyrics can be considered as a total failure and compromise of the performers. Moreover, ribbons hanging from the clothes of one of the vocalists made her more of a Christmas tree than an artist. Of course, one cannot discuss one's tastes, but the frilly jabots on her sleeves completed her tragicomic appearance.
I think that in the future we can easily avoid such slip-ups if you listen to the musicians beforehand or ask them to send sample recordings of their artistic output.
