Save the animals!
I appeal to all people of good will to support our project to save the endangered species dytiscus latissimus. It is a kind of beetle that lives in aquatic areas. This is why we are appealing to you, because we want to build a dam that will make it possible to regulate our river. Not many of you probably know that in the current situation, the dytiscus latissimus' habitat is flooded during the spring thaw and during local flooding, so we want to build a dam that will divert the river back to its old channel.
The preliminary cost is 180,000 PLN. We know it is a lot of money, but if each of us shares even a small amount, e.g. 50 PLN, we will collect the required sum and save the beetle.
Let's not be fooled by the arguments of the opponents of our concept, that diverting the river will deprive 2 towns of drinking water and force the inhabitants to incur huge costs to build pipelines and may lead to water shortages in these towns. We know, after all, that man is destroying the planet and endangering other animals, so the beetle's welfare is certainly more important, and so let everyone make a contribution and build a life-saving dam for the beetle, because 10% of the beetle's population is flooded every year by the overflowing river, and of that 10%, only 8% manages to survive.
We believe in your generosity.
