The match consists of four quarters. Not everyone knows - and this is very important - their length is in most cases 10 minutes. The exception is the NBA. In the American league, each quarter lasts not 10 but 12 minutes. If no tie is reached within regulation time, then 5-minute overtime is held until the winner is determined. After the first and after the third quarter, there is a 2-minute break, and after the first half, the break is 15 minutes.
