I read an article about environmental development last night. It described several modern energy stations which don't rely on fossil fuels, but produce 'clean' energy, each using a different source. One is a solar power plant. Another consists of hundreds of wind turbines. A third one is located by the sea and uses the power of the streams. A fourth source of renewable energy is the heat of the earth. I was so impressed that I started thinking about studying environmental protection. It seems like a useful profession: inventing new ways to stop climate change and generally to protect the environment. For the time being, I'm going to reduce my energy consumption by switching off the light whenever I leave my room.
