I am also a teenager whose first language isn't English. I also used to learn in by singing songs and playing games in primary school. Our lessons were focused on vocabulary more than on grammar too. In my current school, we also focus more on grammar than on speaking and practise by having tests and doing translations. We use computers too. I often watch American films and listen to music in English. Me and Celia both like to learn English by doing activities in pairs.
