Family events take place at someone's home or a restaurant, while the celebrations during national holidays are held in city centres, on the streets or even at cemeteries and are broadcasted. Important people, like the president of prime minister take part in national holidays. I prefer family events because they are usually held to celebrate important moments it the lives of people I love.
