Hey guys,
Lately, it's been such a busy time for me. We organised an event at school. We colaborated with animal shelter from my city - Warsaw - and we decided to collect money for them.
The entrance fee was 3 dollars, so that we have a symbolic amount from every single participant. First thing we did was a competition which consisted on preparing a short play about wild animals. There were lots of props provided to our participants, so the appearances of our actors were really fun. Everyone loved the performance, so that was a good opening. Later, we had a special guest - Joanna Krupa - Polish actress, who is also an animal defender. First of all, there was a lecture given by her with the audience involved in a discussion. Then, Joanna Krupa presented short film, recorded in USA about people taking care of stray dogs. I must tell you, guys, that I saw some people crying, it was a real tear-jerker.
To sum up all the event, I need to encourage all of you to take part in such events. Also, everyone was really surprised seeing Joanna Krupa on our event, a lot of students from different schools came to see her, so it was really worth inviting someone popular. We will surely organise something next year, so stay tuned!
