Every year in Poland thousands of people die due to air pollution. Particulate matter is the most harmful. These are solid particles so small that they get into our circulatory system Even brief contact with smog has a negative effect
impact on our health.
Contaminated air can cause, among other things:
- irritation of the throat, conjunctiva, larynx,
cough,
inflammation of the lungs
- malaise and fatigue,
- increases the risk of cancer.
We are not able to completely eliminate pollutants from our lives, but we can protect ourselves against their negative impact on our health by, among others, a proper diet, the use of anti-smog masks and air purifiers, and even growing ronin, which naturally purify the air.
