A few years ago the Tour de France started in Yorkshire, in the UK. The sun was shining and people all over the world wathing the first stage of the race on TV. Thousands were waiting for the competitors at the finish line, They wanted the famous British rider Mark Cavendish to win. Mark was nearly there! But then a disaster happened! When he cycled past the leaders, he? hit another rider and they fell to the ground. Markº didnt win , but when he locked up, all the people were cheering . Unfortunately, he couldn't continue the race because of his fall.
